Reflect & Act
You’ve learned to look beneath the surface, gather small clues and shift from admiration of performance to genuine curiosity about wellbeing. Now it’s time to reflect, choose one small action and kick-start your cycle of early support.
Reflection prompts (pick 2–3):
- Which girl in my setting appears polished and “fine,” yet shows subtle signs of strain?
- What small detail (a phrase, gesture or routine) might I have overlooked or misread?
- How could I frame an observation with “I’m not sure, but I’ve noticed…” in my next conversation?
- When and where could I build a brief ritual for sharing soft concerns with my team?
Quick Win:
This week, pick one girl who seems to be “doing everything right.” Spend two minutes using the Spot the Signs Cheat Sheet to note one neutral observation (who, what, when, context). At week’s end, glance back over your notes, do you see a pattern forming?
Suggested next step:
Share your single observation with a trusted colleague and agree on one tiny, low-effort adjustment to test (for example, a brief pre-warning before transitions, or a quick “how are you?” check-in).
